Booker-2-RGB-alex-190x300Booker T. is a musical about the life of Booker T. Washington and the Emancipation Proclamation. When a young Black high school student announces that he has no need to study History, Booker T. Washington and a choir of the boy’s ancestors suddenly appear in his bedroom…to dissuade him of his assumptions. The young man experiences what Slavery was all about as Booker T. and the choir take him back through History in a very personal way.
